Galsworthy, John

Novelista e dramaturgo inglés. Estudiou en Harrow e en Oxford e doutorouse en Dereito. Como dramaturgo é autor de obras nas que destaca a súa preocupación por denunciar todo tipo de inxustizas. Da súa produción salienta The Silver Box (1906), The Man of Property (1906), Strife (1909), Justice (1910), The Fugitive (1913), The Mob (1915), Loyalties (1922), Escape (1924), The White Monkey (1924) ou Over the River (1933). Recibiu a Orde ao Mérito (1929) e o Premio Nobel de Literatura (1932).
