Laing, Ronald David

Psiquiatra. Considerado o iniciador da anti-psiquiatría, consideraba que a enfermidade mental era un fenómeno social. En 1965 fundou con David Cooper e A. Esterson, a Philadelphia Association, que agrupaba diversas comunidades, entre as que destacou Kingsley Hall. As súas obras principais son The Divided Self (1960), The Self and Others (1961), Reason and Violence (1964), Sanity, Madness and the Family (en colaboración con A. Esterson, 1964), The Politics of the Family (1969), Knots (1969) e The Facts of Life (1976).
