Lyly, John

Escritor inglés. É autor da novela satírica e didáctica Euphues or the Anatomy of Wit (1578) e de Euphues and his England (1580), onde iniciou o estilo “eufemístico”. Tamén escribiu pezas teatrais, como Sapho and Phao (1583), Endimion (1586-1587), Love’s Metamorphosis (1589), Midas (1589), Mother Bombie (1589-1590) e The Woman in the Moon (1594-1595).
