Füssli, Johann Heinrich

Pintor suízo. Adoptou para o seu nome a grafía Henry Fuseli. Foi un dos precursores da nova sensibilidade estética, baseada na fantasía e nas visións sobrenaturais. Entre as súas obras destacan The Nightmare (1977) e Lady Macbeth seizing the Daggers (1812?). Escribiu Lectures on Painting (1801) e traduciu Reflections on the Painting and Sculpture of the Greeks (1765) de Winckelmann.
