Ivory, James

Realizador cinematográfico estadounidense. Atraído inicialmente pola civilización hindú, realizou Shakespeare Wallah (1964), The Guru (1969), e Bombay Talkies (1970). Posteriormente volveu a Occidente, onde dirixiu adaptacións literarias de prestixio, como Quartet (1981), The Bostonians (1983), A Room with a View (1985), Maurice (1987), Mr. and Mrs. Bridges (1990), Howards End (1992), The Remains of the Day (1993), ou A Soldier’s Daughter Never Cries (1997).
