Johnson, Samuel

Escritor inglés. Desde a década de 1970 do s XVIII liderou a literatura inglesa. Foi autor de Life of Richard Savage (1774), Ditionary of English Language (1755), a novela The History of Scotland (1775) e Lives of the most Eminent English Poets (1779 e 1783). Contribuíu á súa popularidade a biografía que lle escribiu James Boswell.
