Político sudafricano. Xefe dunha tribo zulú, participou no movemento de loita contra o apartheid e foi apresado en diversas ocasións. Foi presidente do Congreso Nacional Africano (1952-1960) e recibiu o Premio Nobel da Paz (1960).
