Mailer, Norman

Novelista estadounidense. A súa obra reflicte un carácter moi crítico coa sociedade do seu país. Da súa produción destacan The Naked and the Dead (1948), The Deer Park (1955), An American Dream (1965), Why are We in Vietnam? (1967), Existential Errands (1975), The Executioner´s Song (1979), Ancient Evenings (1983), Harlot´s Ghost (1992) e The spooky art (2003). Realizou unha biografía sobre Marilyn Monroe e outra sobre Henry Miller, titulada Genius and Lust (1977).
