Maturin, Charles Robert

Dramaturgo. Coñecido tamén como “o derradeiro dos góticos” pola súa novela Melmoth the Wanderer (1820), converteuse nun especialista do xénero de terror. Publicou as novelas The fatal revenge or the Family of Montorio (1807), The Wild Irish Boy (1808), The Milesian Chief (1812) e a traxedia en verso Bertram (1816).
