Sharpe, Tom

Escritor. Exerceu a docencia en Johannesburgo, onde o prenderon por subversión. De humor burlesco e corrosivo, en Riotous Assembly (1971) realizou unha crítica feroz á Sudáfrica do apartheid. Tamén destacan as súas obras Exposure (1973), Porter house blue (1974) e a serie Wilt (1976), The Wilt Alternative (1979) e Wilt On High (1984), Wilt Omnibus (1996) e Wilt in Nowhere (2004). Outras novelas son The Great Pursuit (1977) e The Midden (1996).
