Actriz cinematográfica. Coñecida como Liz Taylor, destacou polo filme Little Women (1949). En 1960 foille concedido o Oscar á mellor actriz por Butterfield-8, e en 1966 por Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Da súa filmografía tamén destacan A Place in the Sun (1951), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958), Cleopatra (1963), The Sandpiper (1964), Night Watch (1973), The Bluebird (1975), The Mirror Crack’d (1981), Between Friends (1986) e The Flinstones (1994).
