Brooks, Cleanth

Crítico literario norteamericano. Seguidor do New Criticism, a súa obra The well-wrought urn (1947) segue a ser un dos mellores instrumentos para achegarse á poesía dos clásicos ingleses. É autor tamén de A shaping Joy: Studies of the Writer’s Craft (1971) e de tres importantes estudios sobre William Faulkner.
